On September 24th, 2016 more than 3,000 men, women,and children from all corners of the West Bank, navigated barriers and obstacles, to gather in Jericho for our first mass action, demonstrating a commitment to nonviolent transformation.

Over 200 young and old, militants who abandoned armed resistance as well as families, Moslems and Christians, all participated to plant olive trees on Palestinian land. Taghyeer activists worked with more than 12 villages and towns to plan this pilot activity, building an identity that creatively blends active social citizenship and the fight for freedom. The planting of the trees symbolizes not only solidarity towards the national heritage but a social a program that will contribute to the development of the local needs in Palestinian society.
